1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Entendo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Entendo's AI-powered natural language data analytics platform (the "Service") operated by Entendo.

By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Entendo provides an AI-powered natural language data analytics platform that enables users to query databases and data files using plain English questions. Our Service generates SQL queries, executes them against connected data sources, and returns results in tabular and visual formats.

The Service is a digital SaaS product. Payment confirmation grants immediate access to the Service. Due to the immediate delivery nature of digital services, refunds are subject to specific limitations as described in Section 7.

3. Account Registration

To use Entendo, you must create an account with accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to:

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Entendo offers subscription plans with monthly and annual billing options. Current plan details and pricing are available at /pricing.

4.1 Auto-Renewal Authorization

By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you explicitly authorize Entendo to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fees. This recurring authorization remains in effect until you cancel your subscription as described in Section 6.

Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. For annual subscriptions, we will send a reminder notification before renewal.

4.2 Taxes

Unless otherwise stated, all prices exclude applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.). Where required by law, we will collect and remit such taxes.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake. Full card numbers are never stored on our servers. All transactions appear on your statement as "Entendo" or "Waffo*Entendo".

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings: Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription, or by sending a cancellation request from your registered email to cancel@entendo.com.

Cancellation takes effect immediately. We will send a confirmation email within 10 minutes.

9. AI Content and Intellectual Property

9.1 Output Ownership

Subject to these Terms, AI-generated content from your inputs ("Output Content") belongs to you. You may use Output Content for any lawful purpose permitted under Section 7.

9.2 Input License

By submitting content to the Service ("Input Content"), you grant Entendo a limited, non-exclusive license solely to provide the Service to you. We will not use your Input Content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

9.3 AI Output Disclaimer

10. Data, Privacy, and Security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and never stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR AI OUTPUT ACCURACY.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTENDO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. If we terminate without cause, we will pro-rate refund unused prepaid portions. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@entendo.com.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes should first be addressed by contacting legal@entendo.com. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brazil.

15. General Provisions

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated at least 14 days before effective date via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions remain fully effective. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Entendo.
